What is GDPR

The General Data Protection Regulation(GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union. It addresses the export of personal data outside the EU.

GDPR will come into effect across the EU on May 25, 2018.

How will it affect our game?
Certain social features will be made unavailable if the user is under the age of consent. To access all the features of the game, the user needs parental permission.

Users can still read what other user users wrote, they just cannot participate.

What is COPPA?

COPPA imposes certain requirements on operators of websites or online services directed to children under 13 years of age, and on operators of other websites or online services that have actual knowledge that they are collecting personal information online from a child under 13 years of age.

Most of our social features are limited or restricted without parental consent.

As a parent

      ★ you are in control and you can give your parental consent on behalf of your underage child to create a profile with MovieStarPlanet.

      ★ you can choose the type of PII collection consent you find appropriate.

      ★ you can decide the consent that you allow to apply for PII related to your child.

      ★  you can control (allow/limit) your child’s consents in the “MovieStarPlanet Parents Control Center”
