Why are we asking for your age?

We are required by GDPR and COPPA to ask for your age.

What is GDPR?
GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation. It is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union.

What is COPPA?
COPPA  is the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), a law created to protect the privacy of children under 13. The Act was passed by the U.S. Congress in 1998 and took effect in April 2000. COPPA is managed by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC)

Some features of our MovieStarPlanet games will be limited to you. That is why we need to ask about your age.
If you are under 13, your access to our games’ social features will be limited until you are no longer underage or get your parents’ permission.

You will still be able to play the game if you are under the age of 13, but with certain limitations.

The limitations are listed here.
If you get your parents' permission, you will be able to access the social features on all MovieStarPlanet games.
